About
Earth & Screen began with a simple realization:
Children today are the first generation growing up
with Artificial Intelligence woven into everyday life.
That is not a small thing.Â
Our Mission
This realization changes how we understand the world we are living in. It means recognizing that the landscape of human experience is shifting- that we are now living within a new information environment shaped by algorithms, screens, and constant digital signals. A digital ocean full of signal saturation.
As we begin to understand this changing landscape, a new kind of awareness and lifestyle becomes necessary.
Not only for children, but for people from all walks of life.
We are now living in a reality that is shaped both by Earth and screen, where nature meets the digital. And we are here to help translate how to navigate these two terrains that are becoming one.Â

Earth & Screen was ultimately created from a universal need: to stay grounded in this rapidly changing AI environment- and to understand how it shapes our bodies, our minds, and our connection to the Earth.
We know how easy it is to lose track of your intention, your time, and your focus when engaging with AI and technology. The quiet that is harder to find than it used to be and the body that tenses when the notifications arrive. There is a felt sense that something important is slipping away in the speed of this new world.Â

This tension is simply calling us to root into deeper wisdom for these times.Â

Our mission is to guide schools, families, children, and communities in navigating the emerging AI reality with awareness — so we can live grounded lives within an increasingly fast-paced world, relating to technology with clarity rather than fear and learning how to live in change without losing ourselves.

Earth & Screen exists for everyone who has felt that tension and sensed that the response to it requires something deeper than a new app, a productivity hack, or another article about AI's capabilities. We believe these futuristic times require ancient wisdom and ecological intelligence as much as digital know-how, wisdom that comes from both the voices of elders and the questions of children. Wisdom where the feminine knowing is valued that knows how to stay close to the body and the breath even when the world demands we leave them behind.

If something here speaks to you — come in. There is room for everyone who wants to understand.

Founder's Story:
Inka Linda SarviÂ
I’m an educator, creative entrepreneur, independent researcher, artist, and mother working at the intersection of AI, human development, ecological intelligence, and creativity. My work has been shaped by a deeply cross-cultural upbringing — growing up across the Philippines, Namibia, Canada, United Kingdom, Thailand, Finland, and Zambia — and by navigating the world as an international student from an early age. Living between cultures gave me a unique understanding of how education, technology, identity, and environment shape the way young people experience themselves and imagine the future.

Being half Zambian and half Finnish I grew up inspired by indigenous ways of learning as well as the Finnish nature-based pedagogy model, both of which emphasize curiosity, relationship to the natural world, embodied learning, emotional development, creativity, and wider connection. These influences continue to shape my educational philosophy and my belief that learning should strengthen a child’s inner world rather than disconnect them from it.

My academic background includes an MA in Creative & Cultural Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths, University of London, where I explored the relationship between creativity, systems change, emerging technologies, and culture. I study the intersection between consciousness and technology— particularly how digital systems shape human environments, perception, relationships, and attention, while simultaneously influencing how we shape the environments around us.

My core passion is helping people remain deeply rooted in the natural environment while also learning to navigate an increasingly immersive digital world. I believe one of the defining challenges of our time is learning how to live between these two realities — the ecological and the technological — without losing our sense of grounding.

Over the years, I have facilitated workshops in schools across the UK and Canada, supporting secondary school students experiencing academic and social pressure to reconnect with creativity, emotional expression, and confidence. I have also worked with primary school students introduced to AI and emerging technologies in ways that are imaginative, accessible, and empowering rather than fear-driven.Â

I also collaborate with the AI start-up Alignment Labs in San Francisco, contributing to conversations around AI alignment, emotional wellbeing, and mental health vulnerabilities within emerging LLMs like ChatGPT.Â
Â
With a social entrepreneurial background as a selected Ashoka Social Innovator and Social Bridge Entrpreneur at Social Ventures Network, I have been lucky to learn from different voices exploring system-based approaches as solutions to societal problems. My mentorship under the late and great Tolu Ilesanmi as a social changemaker deeply influences the architecture of my mission.Â

At the heart of my work is the essential question: how do we stabilize and ground ourselves for an AI-driven future without losing our connection to ourselves, to nature and our creative capacity?

I believe the transition into the AI era requires combining timeless wisdom with contemporary intelligence. It calls for frameworks and conversations that integrate emotional intelligence, creativity, ethics, nature-based learning, cultural awareness, and ecological thinking new pathways.
Â
Through my work, I aim to help young people not only adapt to the future, but remain deeply connected to imagination, resilience, and belonging to the natural living world around them in this next chapter.
